Welcome
At Roosevelt, we like to say we’re a small school with big ideas. Nestled in the heart of our community, Roosevelt is a place where every student is known, valued, and inspired to grow. We pride ourselves on our inclusive community, dedicated teachers and staff, and warm, welcoming environment that feels like family.
Our students are at the heart of everything we do. At Roosevelt, children are encouraged to be kind, empathetic problem solvers who think creatively, work collaboratively, and develop a lifelong passion for learning. Together, we foster a culture of curiosity, respect, and excellence that extends beyond the classroom and into our community.
Roosevelt Elementary has deep roots in our community. Originally opened in the early 1920s, the school served generations of local families before closing in 1980. Due to a growing student population, Roosevelt proudly reopened for the 1997–1998 school year and has been thriving ever since.
Today, Roosevelt serves over 300 students and continues to honor its history while embracing innovation and new ideas. We are a true community school—where families, staff, and neighbors work together to create an environment where every child can shine.
Welcome to Roosevelt—where tradition meets innovation, and every student’s journey matters.
